Saskatchewan! Healthy people. A healthy province.
Alkalinity is a measure of the acid-neutralizing capacity of water. It is the sum of all bases that occur in the water and primarily determined by the presence of carbonate, bicarbonate and hydroxide. Excessive alkalinity levels may cause scale formation. The aesthetic objective is set at a maximum of 500 mg/L.
