Water testing services are available. Saskatchewan health regions are responsible for regulating public water supplies that are not regulated by the Ministry of Environment: rural municipal wells, tourist accommodations and small campgrounds).

State-of-the-art equipment is used to test drinking water, surface water, ground water and sewage water in the Environmental Services section of the Saskatchewan Disease Control Laboratory.
