Duncan Fisher, Special Advisor to the Deputy Minister, heads this division, which is directly and indirectly involved in providing essential health coverage for Saskatchewan residents.

This division is comprised of three branches:

Acute and Emergency Services
Community Care Branch

The branch helps develop and support a broad range of community and institutional programs including: mental health and addictions; home care, palliative care and long-term care; therapies and rehabilitiation; cognitive disabilities; and seniors.
