- Posture and balance exercises help build core strength and prevent falls. Walking poles are the new trend in exercise for active aging, and they help you to develop abdominal core strength and balance. Join trained walking-pole facilitators for an afternoon of fun and learning. An interactive Culture Days program, in celebration of Seniors' Week!

- Seniors Walk celebrates the contributions older adults make in our province. The walk is being organized by the Saskatoon Council on Aging, Saskatchewan Seniors Fitness Association and the Saskatoon Health Region, Forever in Motion with the assistance of seniors clubs in Saskatoon.
- Complementary refreshments and prizes - cost $3.00 per participant.

- The Saskatoon Council on Aging is pleased to announce they will be hosting the 12th Annual Spotlight on Seniors, Tuesday, October 4th, 2011 at TCU Place. This annual showcase continues as one of Saskatoon's premier senior's events attracting 800 to 1,000 in attendance. The event is also the largest seniors' event in the province of Saskatchewan. The theme of the showcase promotes a healthy, vibrant and exciting lifestyle for seniors.
- Admission is $5.00.
- Event highlights: seminar room, blood pressure clinic, entertainment from main stage, fashion show.
