The Saskatchewan Government is awarding more than 600 bursaries this year for students pursuing a health career, or upgrading their skills.

As a way of recognizing Saskatchewan seniors for their valuable contributions, the provincial government is offering the seniors' gold plan.

The following benefits are available to all Saskatchewan residents 65 years of age and older:

  • Free entry to provincial parks
  • Free fishing licences
  • 30% discount on fares from Saskatchewan Transportation Company (STC)
  • Free non-driver photo ID from Saskatchewan Government Insurance (SGI)
