Did you know? Saskatchewan is among the provinces with the lowest per capital health care administration costs, according to the Canadian Institute of Health Information. Regional Health Governance Health System Annual ReportsSaskatchewan Health, regional health authorities and the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency are accountable to the Minister of Health, and report annually on their activities and progress toward the health system's vision.
As part of government's commitment to accountability and transparency, Saskatchewan Health, regional health authorities and the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency disclose payments of $50,000 or greater made to individuals, affiliates and other organizations during the fiscal year. These payments include salaries, contracts, transfers, supply and service purchases and other expenditures. The payee list can be found in the Governance and Transparency sections of most annual reports. If not, it has been appended at the end of the report. Printed copies of an annual report or payee disclosure list may also be obtained by contacting the health region at its corporate office.
