  • This program assists long-term mentally ill clients through the provision of long-term case management services, which can include housing in the form of group and approved homes as well as independent living options. Day activity and recreational programs, family respite and education, as well as crisis management are also provided to support clients and their families.
  • Services available through health regions to rehabilitation clients in service areas inlcude:
    • Intake, orientation and assessment
    • Case management
    • Residential services
    • Prevocational/Vocational
    • Shared management
    • 24-hour emergency response
    • Coordinating councils
    • Family education and support education
    • Family support and rehabilitation program (contractual services)
  • A number of community-based organizations provide a range of vocational and prevocational services to rehabilitation clients in a number of health regions. These include:

  • The Saskatchewan Schizophrenia Society offers support to rehabilitation clients and their families throughout the province.
