Problem Gambling Help Line

The Problem Gambling Help Line provides 24-hour help to people with gambling problems and their families. Callers receive confidential, professional service from trained counsellors.

 The line operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is free of charge.

The help line provides:

  • information;
  • short-term counselling;
  • crisis intervention services; and
  • referrals to regional health authority problem gambling counsellors and self-help groups.

Who to call for local help for you or someone you know.

The Provincial Mediation Board offers assistance to individuals with personal debt problems by reviewing their financial situation, providing direction and explaining their options.

Gamblers Anonymous provides people with an opportunity to share their experience. It also provides support and hope in order to stop gambling.

Gam-Anon provides a supportive environment for the spouses, relatives, or close friends of problem gamblers to share their experiences.
