Both teams consist of a registered nurse and respiratory therapist trained in:

• pediatric critical care
• pediatric advanced life support
• aeromedicine
• management of transport equipment
• physiological effects of transport on the pediatric patient
• limitations imposed by the transport environment
  

• A flight nurse or flight paramedic when the selected mode of transportation is Saskatchewan Air Ambulance.
• An emergency medical technician or paramedic if the selected mode of transport is road ambulance.
