Saskatchewan! Healthy people. A healthy province.

Donating an Organ or Tissue

It's important that someone in your family knows whether or not you want to be an organ and tissue donor, since the decision to donate is left to your next of kin.

Saskatchewan has launched a province-wide public awareness campaign that gives people a new and innovative way to let their friends and families know their wishes on organ donation.

Visit www.isanorgandonor.com to find out why Saskatchewan celebrities believe in organ donation, and how to show that you do, too.

See Related Links below for more information on the campaign.

In Saskatchewan, adults can also indicate their desire to be an organ and tissue donor by placing an orange "organ and tissue donor" sticker on their Saskatchewan health services card. The stickers themselves do not guarantee a donation - your family should also be aware of your wishes.

Organ donor stickers are included in each health services card package. A form that comes with the stickers encourages you to discuss your views on organ and tissue donation with your family, and requires both you and a family member to provide signed consent. If you need a sticker, call Saskatchewan Health at 1-800-667-7551.

Visit the website and share your intentions.
