Lynn Digney Davis - Chief Nursing Officer

Lynn Digney Davis, Chief Nursing Officer, is a registered nurse, nurse practitioner and represents nurses to government and government to nurses.

Lynn maintains clinical practice as a Nurse Practitioner, one day a week, at the Raymore Community Health Centre in Raymore.

As Provincial Chief Nursing Officer, Lynn advises on and develops policies that support nursing in Saskatchewan. Her job is to help nursing understand government and government understand nursing.

 

Welcome and updates.

The Nursing Secretariat, led by the Chief Nursing Officer, provides a strategic advisory role to the Minister of Health and supports nursing to advance patient- and family-centred care and improve patient outcomes.

Nursing leadership working within (and consultants contracted by) some of the branches of the Ministry of Health.

The Provincial Nursing Council is a dynamic multi-stakeholder nursing leadership group in Saskatchewan. Provides leadership, consultation and strategic advice to the Ministry of Health and to nurses regarding research and best practices.
