The overall goal of Saskatchewan's mental health services is to promote, preserve and restore the mental health of the population.

Mental health services are delivered in all health regions and are accessible to all Saskatchewan residents.

Mental health programs operate in accordance with the Mental Health Services Act and Regulations.

Mental health clinical and consulting services are available for adults in Saskatchewan.

This program assists long-term mentally ill clients through the provision of long-term case management services, which can include housing in the form of group and approved homes as well as independent living options.

Mental health clinical and consulting services are available for children and youth in Saskatchewan.

Inpatient mental health services are provided in acute hospital, psychiatric rehabilitation and forensic settings.
