Saskatchewan! Healthy people. A healthy province.

An independent agency that measures and reports on quality of care in Saskatchewan, promotes improvement, and engages its partners in building a better health system. Research reports measure overall health care quality in Saskatchewan, with specific areas of focus.

A made-in-Saskatchewan approach to applying the key lessons learned from other high-performing health systems, to transform the Saskatchwean health system into a coordinated, quality-focused system.

Provides the tools physicians need to assess the demands on their practice, identify their capacity and then make changes to create a more predictable work pace and improve patient, staff and physician satisfaction.

QIN is a partnership, a mechanism for bringing the health regions, Saskatchewan Cancer Agency, professional organizations and others, to support exchange of knowledge about and develop leadership capacity for quality improvement in the province.

A strategy for engaging patients through two-way communication and information exchange between health care providers and patients.  The combination of medical evidence and patients' preferences are more likely to lead to treatment decisions that result in health outcomes that patients' value.

The Quality Insight report provides the latest data on how our system is performing, on progress to date in addressing the issues flagged in the previous report, and maps out a vision of where the province's measurement and reporting program is heading.
