  • In close consultation with other branches, oversees the development of the Ministry’s annual budget submission to Treasury Board and acts as the primary liaison with the Department of Finance.
  • Provides centralized services to Ministry programs in the areas of expenditure and revenue forecasting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, contract administration, centralized mail and records management, procurement services and accommodation.
  • Administers recoveries from the federal government under federal-provincial cost sharing agreements.
  • Primary ministry liaison with the Provincial Auditor’s Office.
  • Oversees the financial management of the Ministry and ensures that financial management practices are consistent with government financial and accounting policies.
