Saskatchewan Health Bursary Program

How to apply for a bursary, the approval process and bursary conditions.

The bursary program has three components:

  • Nurse Educator Bursary: For students studying to become a nurse educator in a post-secondary institution.  [Under development.  Applications will be available shortly.]
  • Physician Bursaries: As part of the broad spectrum of retention and recruitment initiatives targeted at physicians, financial assistance is provided to physicians in various stages and types of education and practice. Information about physician bursaries is available from the Saskatchewan Medical Association (see Related Links below)
  • Clinical Placement Bursaries: For students in a health discipline program that has a final clinical placement as a requirement of program completion.
