It does not provide the capability of making changes to a person's family unit (eg: marriage or separation). Do I maintain Saskatchewan health coverage while away for school?If you attend school full time outside Canada and plan to return to Saskatchewan to live upon completion of your studies, you will qualify for limited out-of-country coverage. These limitations are significant and the costs outside Canada are often much higher than in Saskatchewan. For this reason, we strongly recommend residents carry extra medical insurance when studying outside Canada.
