Services offered by health regions

Direct and indirect clinical and counselling services are available for adults in Saskatchewan.

Direct Services include diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of mental health problems as well as counselling and support for community clients.

Indirect Services take the form of consultation and support to other agencies.

Adult services available through health regions' mental health clinics include:

  • Intake/assessment/referral
  • Crisis intervention
  • Individual counselling
  • Marital counselling (with distress)
  • Family violence treatment
  • Family violence support
  • Sexual assault/sexual abuse support
  • Court ordered assessments
  • Problem gambling support
  • Promotion/prevention/education
