Saskatchewan! Healthy people. A healthy province.

Saskatchewan Addictions Awareness Week offers a chance for communities to take greater ownership in addressing substance abuse. The theme is “Reality Check”, to emphasize the need to help youth and adults learn the real facts about addictions to alcohol, drugs and tobacco, and problem behaviours related to gambling.

Almost 10,000 Saskatchewan people use provincial drug and alcohol services each year. In the past five years, the number of people seeking help for alcohol or drug problems has risen 16 per cent. Many others don’t realize that they, or those they love, have a problem.

Get involved! Join hundreds of volunteers and health workers in giving your family and community a “reality check”.
