To help meet current and future needs, the government is developing a 10-year health human resources plan for the health system.

After careful study and consultation with people across this province, the Saskatchewan government presented Healthy People. A Healthy Province. the Action Plan for Saskatchewan Health Care on December 5, 2001. It is a comprehensive health plan to address the issues that people say matter the most. The plan is a practical, balanced approach to change at a manageable pace.
