Policy and Procedures Document Library Accountability Document Generic - RHAIn support of The Action Plan for Saskatchewan Health Care, Saskatchewan Health developed an accountability framework that defines and clarifies the performance relationship between regional health authorities (RHAs) and the province. The framework also defines the relationship between the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency (SCA) and the province. The underlying principle of this framework is the prudent and ethical use of public funds. The Accountability Document articulates organizational, program and service expectations of the RHAs. The document also links expectations with funding. One Accountability Document is created for each region annually. The document is drafted by Saskatchewan Health and is negotiated with the regional health authority before a final version is completed.
