Seniors' Drug Plan - Apply Today

The Drug Plan pays almost $200 million each year to offset the cost of about 3,700 approved prescription drugs. In 2006-07, we processed 9.6 million prescriptions and paid an average of 49% of the cost. Read more about drug coverage.

As part of our comprehensive strategy, SGI and Saskatchewan Health provide community grants.

These grants enable community groups to establish, enhance and deliver programs that address traffic safety concerns and prevention initiatives in their communities.

SGI and Saskatchewan Health provide support and guidance in identifying priorities and in the development and implementation of any of these initiatives. Grant deadlines are February 28, October 31 and June 1 (for long-term projects).  In June of 2007 the Community Grants Program was enhanced to include two levels of funding opportunities.
